This week’s Weekly Winners are mostly a random collection of things around the house and yard, but almost all of them have to do with Spring, and that makes me happy!

Our friends bought us a Calla Lilly plant to thank us for something, and I’m trying to keep it alive while I figure out where to plant it!
I’m trying to make a quilt for my friend’s new baby…here’s the beginning stages. It doesn’t look too bad…yet.

I loved the second photo. As for cows, I was on another blog and this guy who lives in a city was talking about how his wife, who grew up on a farm, doesn’t understand why their local zoo has cows. To be honest, I don’t understand why they have cows either, but I have found that even though LA is ringed by dairy farms and home to way too many people not from here, there are many people who have never really seen a cow in its element.

Those were lovely! I loved your flower shots. Is it possible the other flowering tree is a magnolia of some odd variety? Those were some glossy leaves!
