Do you have any special talents?
Ummm…well, I’ve always been gifted with the musical instruments. I can play the piano, clarinet, flute and trombone. I have access to a French Horn, and I want to learn how to play that.

Do you regret anything about your past?
Such a hard question – of course, yes, but I still wouldn’t change it, otherwise I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Do people ever mistake you for being a different race?
Never.

Do you collect anything?
Not really anymore – I used to collect shot glasses. Apparently I lost the desire for clutter a few years ago. Now I just take pictures.

Would you tattoo someone’s name on your body?
Hell no.

What do you worry about the most?

Failure.

Um, no. Unless you count my boy.

How old were you when you moved out of your parents house?
I was pretty much gone for good at age 20 – I moved to school and only came home for weekends and holidays. I still lived close by. I moved to Atlanta at age 22.

Whom do you miss right now?
My friend that just had her baby – I want to see her and the baby!

Are you drinking anything?
No.

Do you like beer? If so, which one?
I do, although my taste has changed drastically. I think my favorite is Bass draft, but my 2nd favorite is Woodchuck Cider (I know, not technically beer). I also like Corona, and Sam Adams White.

Do you carry any form of contraceptive with you?
I have an IUD, so by default, everywhere I go, it does too.

Do you have any weapons for personal protection?

No. And that’s bad. I should have something. .

Good fresh pineapple.

Yes

Depends…if the bathroom is clean, then usually. If not, I hover.

To get a couple papers out for review for publication. And to not be so hard on myself (yeah, like that’ll happen).

Ummm…I honestly can’t remember.

Have you ever run away from home?
Yes. I ran to the woods behind our house for a few hours when I was 6. I came home for dinner though.

Favorite concert you have been to?
A taping of Live at the Bluebird Cafe – it was a roundtable singer/songwriter session and included Ann Wilson of Heart, Shawn Colvin, Josh Joplin, the Indigo Girls, and Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish). It was awesome!

Short sleeve gray, with “Las Vegas, Nevada” stenciled on it in red, white, and blue.

Is any an acceptable answer? Hehe…I love Sour patch kids, those sour straws, peanut M&M’s, Hershey’s with almonds, Mr. Goodbar, Butterfinger and Almond Joy best though.

I don’t even think I own a bottle of vitamins.

What color is your vehicle?
Silver.

My hip bone.

What do you think about the president?
I don’t like him – rather than a long explanation, I’ll just say that he and I do not have the same opinions when it comes to some of his major policies like the war, immigration, stem-cell research, women’s rights, gay rights, and taxes. I’ll be glad to see him go.

What are your favorite pizza toppings?
Cheese and sausage

How much money do you have on you?
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Actually, I think I have about $10 in cash, which is highly unusual for me.

This past fall

Both are 58. Mom is 8 days older than Dad.

When did you last hold a baby?
Last weekend.

If you had the opportunity to open a store, what would you sell?
Books. I’d have a used bookstore.

Salmon, rice and green beans.

Nope. I don’t do MySpace.

My rocking chair my boy bought me for my birthday.

Totally depends on the category of food. Fancy? Ben Benson’s in NYC. Casual? Dry Dock in CT. BBQ? Jim N Nick’s. etc. etc.

The dollar theater – if you go at the right time, there’s no one there.
