It’s Saturday meme’ing time, with another meme that I stole from Tense Teacher.

Why do you text message people?
Because most times I don’t have time to talk, and it’s easier to just send a quick text.

Yes

What is a text message you have saved?
One from my boy that says he loves me.  Awwwwwww!

Do you like talking on the phone?
Not really!  Especially during the week.  When I come home, I just want to chill most days, not gab on the phone.

Which is better, a text message or a phone call?
In most cases, a text.

Is there someone in your life right now that you feel like you could share anything with?

Yes – my boy.

If so, does this person share theirs in return?
He darn well better!!    (I think he does).

Yes.  My boy…and Bon Jovi.

Ever wished someone would ask you to run away or move with them?
Well – are we running away on some awesome adventure?  Then sure.  Moving?  I think I’ve moved enough.  I’m thankful to not have to do it for 2 more years.

Is there someone you talk about constantly?
I talk about my boy a bunch, and I talk about my friends a school.

What is something you are looking forward to in the next 6 months?
Going to Chicago for the conference in August.

What is something you are looking forward to within the next 3 years?
Graduating and getting a real job with a real paycheck!

No.  I keep a blog.

Um….no.  It was a little too saucy for public sharing!!

Pedicures.

What makes you feel safe?
Being wrapped up in a cozy blanket on the couch.  Long hugs.  Cuddling with my boy as we fall asleep.

I still have my baby blanket.  I mostly use it as a neck prop when I read in bed.

No!!!

Are you searching for something in life?
I don’t think so.  I think I’m pretty content with my life.

Do you like it when someone IMs, calls, texts or otherwise talks to you just to say hi or goodnight?
I like when they call to say hi, if I haven’t talked to them in a while.  I only like goodnight calls from my boy when we aren’t together.

4 in one ear (three on the bottom, one in the cartilage), three in the other.  I only wear earrings in the first two now, and the cartilage.

Do you have any tattoos? How many and what are they of? Got any planned to get? What’s the meaning behind it?
3.  Two on my lower back, one on my hip.  The first one on my lower back is a moon and star design, the third is a sun moon and star design on my hip.  I still love them, since I love moons and stars.   The 2nd one is a Chinese symbol of courage on my low back, which was me being stupid at age 20.  It’s ok, but I don’t love it and I probably will get rid of it one day.

Losing the people I love.

How does your fear affect you life?
It makes me a little clingy sometimes.

Ummm…eat, drink and be merry?  I don’t think I have one.

I never listen to just one song when I’m happy – I have a compilation.  I do like to sing “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and get my cat to meow along with me.

I don’t, really.

I love them.  I’m very lucky to have them.

Make some predictions about the next 12 months.
I will write a lot of papers.  I will finally hit my weight loss goal.  I will send more papers out for publication.  I will submit papers to the International conference, the southern states conference, and the central states conference.  I will spend way more money that I want to on gas.  I’ll be happy!

Is there a day of the week that time seems to fly by faster than the other days?
It totally depends on the week.  Usually whatever the day is before I have a paper due.

Whatever my long day is at school.

Have you ever had a strong crush on someone, but did not say anything to that person? If yes, why?
Yes.  High school.  He was popular.  I would have probably been laughed at.

Have you had a crush in secret and then told that person? If yes, what happened?
Yes!  This was funny.  I actually ran into said person at a grocery store in Atlanta a couple years ago when I had just moved back there.  We started hanging out – we never really were friends in high school – and we’ve since become really good friends.  I told him one night at dinner, and he was totally shocked.  So I told him he missed his chance, and he laughed.

Sort of.

Have you ever, in retrospect, stalked someone?
Nope.

Have you ever slept with someone on a first date?
Nope.

Have you ever regretted not sleeping with someone?
Nope!

What attracts you first to someone else (sexually, romantically or both…you chose)?
Sense of humor is a huge attractant.  The ability to have fun with whatever the situation is.  Someone not easily offended.  Loyalty, honesty, obviously.  Nice eyes, a good smile, and a cute butt.
