This is so cool. Bottom of the 3rd, Cubs were down 4-1. Bases were loaded, and DeRosa steps up. I snapped this shot – this is the exact ball and swing he hit a grand slam on. It’s the first grand slam I’ve ever seen in the majors – it was so cool.

You may not know this, but I am from Chicago and was born a Cubs fan and that this was like getting a big ol’ hug. Glad you did Chicago in style and brought back great pics, too!

That seems fun! I’m not exactly a baseball fan, but I can enjoy going to a big stadium, especially if it is to watch a Cubs game.

Awesome pics. I’m not a huge baseball fan (I’m from Pittsburgh…we haven’t seen decent baseball in about 15 years) but I love the motion shots and how the ball is caught hanging in the air. Very cool.

That is an ADORABLE pic of you two
What is it about sports shots with the ball in mid-air that we all seem to love? I have several great shots of my own daughter playing first base in softball, with the ball coming at her like the slider in yours. Excellent stuff.
