I had to really make an effort to get out with my camera this week, but I’m very pleased with the little I did!
Fall is starting to show up in Alabama…
The dogwood is one of the first trees to start turning…

Such gorgeousness! I didn’t get my camera out so much this week, either (more than last week, but not as much as I’d like). I was going to say that all of these were my favorites until I got to the end, and *that* one is my favorite – the others are just excellent.
Yay for neigh-(hahaha, neigh)-neighbors with horses – all the beauty and fun with none of the chores.

I’ve had the plant you question at two of our homes…I call it the giant weed. They’re a B to get rid of. Lovely pics. I can’t wait to go for a hike in the mountains soon. Fall is here!

Tae is right. Those are Pampas grass. In Argentina, we call them ‘fox tails’.
