A story came to me this morning about I-84 in Connecticut being shut down outside of Hartford.  Ultimately, the interstate remained closed for three hours due to a man who was holding a gun to his head inside a parked car on the interstate.

One of the early stories that was reported in the Hartford Courant said that police were negotating with the man, trying to talk to him and get him to put the gun down.  This was the picture that ran with that story:

I cracked up.  They’re negotiating underneath a billboard that says “Talk is cheap”.
