1. What color is your front door?
A reddish/maroon.  And I’ve learned that when the sun has been beating on it all day, it gets really friggin hot.

2. Tell me about your siblings. If you are an only child, tell me whether or not you wanted siblings, older, younger etc.
I have no siblings.  I have never really wanted them – the only time that changes is when I see a set of siblings that are really close, and then I wish I had that.  That’s not often though.

3. What color/type butterfly is your favorite?
A pretty one?  I honestly don’t know.

4. Will you be celebrating Cinco De Mayo?
Well.  My ‘final exam’ for my political advertising class was on Cinco de Mayo.  The professor took the class to a Mexican restaurant down the road from our building, and I had a couple of margaritas.  So I guess I did, in a roundabout way.  I hope I got an “A”.

5. Oprah — love her, hate her, or don’t care?
Don’t care.  I’m more amused by the people who take what she says to heart.  Really?

6. Are you worried about the spread of swine flu?
No.  It’s the FLU.  I’m about as worried about the swine flu as I am the regular flu.  Which is not really.

7. Hard or soft pillows?
Soft-ish, and flat.  I can’t sleep on fluffy or big pillows.

8. How many trees are in your neighbor’s yard?
Um…less than 10?

9. What was the color of the last car you saw?
Blue

10. When does your driver’s license expire?
2011 I think…I should probably check on that.

13. What are your current obsessions?
“Kiss me” lip gloss/moisturizer from Sephora.  Making sure I don’t get unsighly tan lines for my upcoming wedding.  Going to the gym and getting into shape for my upcoming wedding so I don’t look like a marshmellow.  Getting manuscripts submitted to journals for review.  Writing my dissertation.

14. Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
Right now, my green cargo capris.  I love them.

15. What’s for dinner?
Food.

Groceries.

It’s been a week or so…but I found this steak off Pioneer Woman.  It was ohmygod so freaking good I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

Cinco de Mayo.  I’m a pathetic lightweight.
