I’m writing a cover letter.  At least, I’m trying.  I hate these things.  How much shameless self promotion is too much?  I really wish I had the balls to just write one that says “I won’t waste your time, just look at my CV”.  Ugh.

It feels like forever since I’ve done the Saturday meme – maybe it has been!  This meme I stole from Tense Teacher several weeks ago, but obviously never got around to it!

Since I don’t think I have an accent, and my boy informs me that everyone has one, I asked him.  His answer?  “Sometimes you sound like you’re from New Jersey, other times you sound like you’re from Connecticut.  You have what would be described as a fairly flat accent”.  There you go.

I always have strange dreams.  The last dream I had that was really strange involved wedding cake being brought out with candles on it – except the candles were a combination of those sparkler candles and the candles that you can’t blow out, so my boy and I were trying to blow out these stupid candles, and the art on one of the walls caught on fire, and we were more worried about the cake than the art (the place we are getting married at has a ton of art all over the place).

What’s your earliest memory?
I was 2.  Seriously.  I was at my nursery school, and it was late spring/early summer (so I was closer to 3).  We tye dyed shirts purple.  I remember dunking the shirts into the big containers of purple dye.

Have you ever broken a bone before, and if so, how?
A bone?  No.  Many bones?  Yes.  I broke my collarbone riding my bike into a tree.  I broke my nose and eye socket bone riding my bike into the back of a parked van.  (Maybe I shouldn’t have had a bike?).  I broke/dislocated my finger falling off the bars at gymnastics when I was fooling around.  I broke my leg falling down stairs my freshman year of high school.  I cracked my sternum falling on the bars during gymnastics practice (though I wasn’t fooling around that time).  I broke my foot falling off the beam.  I’ve broken multiple toes walking in to coffee tables and such.  I’m thinking there’s something else, but I forget.

Amusing?  Sordid tales about the lives of the great leaders.  There was a special on one (Roman? Greek?) leader that had orgies all the time.  That was pretty funny.

Not that I can remember.  I barely wear lipstick.

What are 3 accessories you have to be equipped with when you go out?
Purse (and all the contents in it), my camera, and sunglasses.

Um, all the time, don’t you?  (i.e., no.)

If someone dared you to run across a busy street for 1 thousand dollars, would you?
Not for a thousand.  Raise the price and we’ll talk.

Would you kill someone for 9 million dollars?
Yes.  But I’m talking about someone that deserves it, not my grandmother.

Who is your worst enemy right now and why?
I don’t have enemies.  I’m sure people don’t like me/hate me, but I don’t give a monkey shit about those people.

Have you ever been in a physical fight with anyone before?
Yes.  A couple of times.

Do you wear slippers or socks?
Both, until summer hits.  Which in Alabama, is about April.

Not regularly.  I had one pair of shoes that stunk no matter what I did to them.  I don’t have those shoes anymore.

I’ve picked wedgies in public, probably with less shame than I should have had.  Does that count?

What is the strangest pet you’ve ever owned?
A hermit crab.

Do you love life or hate it?
I love it.

Me.    Well…Bon Jovi isn’t too bad.
